PRIVACY
POLICY

This policy explains how Automotive Lab handles information submitted through this website and how visitors can control analytics and advertising measurement.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you request a booking, we collect the details you choose to provide, including your name, phone number, optional email address, vehicle, requested service, preferred date, optional time and message. The form also records a unique lead reference, submission time, landing page and campaign parameters such as UTM values or Google click identifiers when they are present.

Newsletter subscriptions collect an email address and explicit marketing consent. Technical records may include an IP address, security checks and delivery logs used to prevent abuse and troubleshoot failed submissions.

HOW WE USE INFORMATION

Booking information is used to review your request, contact you, confirm availability, prepare for the requested service and maintain an appropriate service record. Newsletter information is used only to send the updates you requested. Attribution data helps Automotive Lab understand which website pages and campaigns generate enquiries and avoid counting the same lead more than once.

ANALYTICS, ADVERTISING AND CONSENT

The website uses Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement. Analytics and advertising storage are denied by default until you choose “Allow measurement” in the privacy banner. You can decline measurement and still use the website and booking form. Use the Cookie Settings control in the footer to change your choice later.

Google may receive limited event and device information when measurement is allowed. Automotive Lab does not add unsupported rating data or sell booking information.

STORAGE, RETENTION AND DELETION

Website enquiries and delivery logs are stored in access-controlled website storage and may also be delivered to the workshop email account. Information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage the requested service, maintain necessary business records, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations. Records that are no longer required should be securely deleted or de-identified.

You may ask Automotive Lab to access, correct or delete personal information that is not required to be retained. Newsletter recipients can unsubscribe by using the instructions in an email or by contacting the workshop.

SECURITY AND THIRD PARTIES

The website uses transport encryption, form validation, request signing, a honeypot and rate limiting. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Website hosting, email delivery and Google measurement services may process limited information on Automotive Lab’s behalf under their own privacy and security terms.
